As your Texas orthodontic specialists, our greatest goal with your office visits is to give you the healthy, straight, and beautiful smile you’ve always wanted. We understand that choosing to receive orthodontic care is a big decision, and we respect your reasons for wanting to improve the way you look and feel.
During office visits, our practice will work with you every step of the way to make sure your orthodontic care is as rewarding as possible. We utilize the latest technology, and offer a variety of safe and gentle treatment options to give you the customized, individual care you deserve.
Every Smile Starts With an Initial Consultation!
Your initial consultation will give you the opportunity to meet our team, learn more about orthodontics, receive a complete initial exam, and find out which treatment options will best meet your needs. During your initial consultation, we will:
- Personalized Assessment: During your initial consultation, our experienced orthodontists conduct a comprehensive examination of your teeth, jaws, and facial structure. This personalized assessment enables us to identify any misalignments, bite issues, or orthodontic concerns specific to your case.
- Tailored Treatment Plan: Following the assessment, we develop a tailored treatment plan that aligns with your individual goals and addresses any orthodontic issues identified. Whether you're considering traditional braces, clear aligners, Invisalign, or other advanced orthodontic solutions, our team provides detailed insights into each option, ensuring you make informed decisions about your orthodontic journey.
- Early Intervention: For younger patients, an early orthodontic consultation can be particularly advantageous. Detecting and addressing orthodontic issues in their early stages can prevent potential complications and streamline the overall treatment process, often leading to more efficient and effective results.
- Financial Clarity: Understanding the financial aspects of orthodontic treatment is crucial, and our initial consultations provide an opportunity to discuss treatment costs, insurance coverage, and available payment plans. We believe in transparency, ensuring that you are well-informed about the financial aspects of your orthodontic care from the beginning.
- Addressing Concerns and Questions: An initial orthodontic consultation is the perfect forum to address any questions or concerns you may have about the treatment process, potential discomfort, and the expected timeline. Our orthodontic team is dedicated to ensuring that you feel comfortable and confident about the journey towards your perfect smile.
Our team will be glad to answer any questions you may have, and we will provide all the information you need to determine which treatment is right for you. Please contact our practice to schedule your initial consultation. This consultation serves as the gateway to understanding your unique orthodontic needs, discussing treatment options, and crafting a personalized roadmap to achieve your ideal smile.
What Happens After the Initial Consultation?
You’re one step closer to achieving the smile you’ve always wanted! After your consultation, we will schedule your first appointment and Dr. Gardner will place your new orthodontic appliance or give you your first Invisalign aligners. This appointment generally takes about an hour (less with Invisalign), and during this time our team will be available to make sure you are as comfortable as possible.
Scheduling Appointments With Your Texas Orthodontic Specialists
Visiting our office about every four to eight weeks is an essential part of your orthodontic treatment. Our practice will work with you to make sure your appointments are as convenient as possible. When scheduling appointments, please let us know which days and times work best for you.
We understand that “life happens”! If you’re running late or need to reschedule, please let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. When you’re ready to schedule your first appointment, contact our practice and our friendly scheduling coordinator will assist you. We’re looking forward to working with you.
Office Visits to the Dentist During Orthodontic Treatment
It is vital that, alongside visits to your Texas orthodontic specialists, you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups, even during your orthodontic treatment. If extra dental care is needed, we will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure you receive the best possible care. Make sure to get directions before heading our way.
